Product Design Fea Engineer

Strong knowledge of solid mechanics Experience in implicit and explicit finite element analysis (fea) Attention to details and commitment to verification/validation Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with passion for creating cutting edge products M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Structural Engineering, or similar discipline required along with 3+ years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Abaqus, Ansa and Meta Experience with system level modeling and simulation Experience with the mechanical behavior of materials and constitutive modeling Self-motivated to identify areas for improvement and drive innovation Excellent cross-functional collaboration and written and verbal communication Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Structural Engineering, or similar discipline Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
