Ascension Seton is looking for a CNM, APRN, or PA for our women's health division. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at AMG Women's Health Central 34th located in Austin, TX. This job location is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type. What You Will Do
Responsibilities include: Obtaining patient history and performing assessment via observation, interview and examination. Ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic studies. Performing preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care. Providing direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources. Counseling and educating patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Documenting delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy. What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration: Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred. Education: Master's degree of Nursing required.
