Electrical Design Engineer
You will be an Electrical Design Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC), responsible for reviewing electrical requirements, designs, ICDs, and drawings, and conducting research, technical investigations, and problem resolution. As an Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Providing technical support to Supplier Management Teams (Control Actuation System) Reviewing electrical requirements, designs, ICDs, and drawings Conducting research, technical investigations, and problem resolution Supporting system and subsystem design updates and release Lab testing and evaluation Providing on-site supplier support as required to perform failure investigations and ensure technical performance of Line Replaceable Units (LRU) Performing MRBE tasks and supporting failure review board (FRB) We provide the resources and give you the flexibility to enable inspiration and focus. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Basic Qualifications: Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality. Experience troubleshooting hardware/designs and working towards determination of root cause Desired Skills: Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting. Previous experience in FRB processes Familiarity with the transition from development to production, including the resolution of design issues and optimization for mass production. Experience in electrical design (preferably production phase) in aerospace or a similar industry. Prior experience with Lockheed Martin programs or similar defense contractors is a plus. Familiarity with Visio and Windchill This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
