Medical Laboratory Technician
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to work at a facility in Tacoma, WA. These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate: $36 / hour *W2 Responsibilities
Perform a full range of clinical laboratory tests in any one or a combination of the following sections of the laboratory: hematology, chemistry, cytology, histotechnology, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, phlebotomy or transfusion and blood bank Heavy Phlebotomy while assisting in the PSS lab during PCS season Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure that the physiologic state of the properties is maintained Calibrate, standardize, adjust, and maintain instruments Verify correct instrument operation using established procedures and quality control checks This job description is not intended to be all inclusive. Therefore, the employee may be requested to perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management as required. Qualifications
Laboratory Technician Certification ASCP Certification or AMT Certification 6 months of experience rotation through all sections of a medical laboratory Must be team oriented and willing to assist in other labs as needed BLS - Basic Life Support NACI background check Must be a U.S. citizen
