Meet the team: Founded in 1999, Dexcom, Inc. provides continuous glucose monitoring technology to help patients and their clinicians better manage diabetes. Since our inception, we have focused on better outcomes for patients, caregivers, and clinicians by delivering solutions for people with diabetes - while empowering our community to take control of diabetes. Where you come in: You will be a part of a dynamic team that works closely with Manufacturing to provide planning and support. Performs and facilitates operation and maintenance of utility and building systems. Under supervision, will perform intermediate duties in the operation and maintenance of utility and building systems associated controls, sub-systems, auxiliaries, and accessories. You will initiates repairs, tests, and calibrates systems and equipment, and diagnoses equipment problems. Communicates with senior staff to document corrective action necessary to avoid malfunctions, energy excess, shutdown, or damage of any system. Maintains acceptable attendance record, punctuality, and meeting deadlines. What makes you successful: Your unique skill will strengthen the team in a way to make it more rounded and proficient. Able to read, understand and discuss basic blueprints, system and equipment diagrams and P&IDs. Has substantial knowledge and understanding of engineering fundamentals with respect to Mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools related to job functions. Knowledge of tests performed for systems operations with ability to determine repair needs and effectively communicate them to supervisor. Operational knowledge of at least 5 major systems (HVAC) and pneumatic controls, building steam systems, domestic and industrial water systems, compressed air systems, refrigeration, air conditioning compressors and controls, water systems, electrical systems, Emergency Generator, UPS, Boilers, and other related controls and systems. Travel Required: 0-5% Experience and Education Requirements: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 0 2 years related experience.
