We are looking for qualified interpreters to provide on-site and remote consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services throughout the five boroughs of NYC. You would be a great fit for this position if you are a self-starter who can provide reliable and professional interpretation services and live within the NYC area. The role requires managing a flexible schedule, traveling to clients (within five boroughs of NYC), and establishing dependable communication. The ideal candidate will successfully collaborate with service providers to use their gift of language to serve their community. This is a part-time, hourly opportunity to support the NYC DoE with language services. Minimum Qualifications: Fluent in English and Mandarin. Must be 18 years of age or older and have U.S work authorization. Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Be willing to travel to all 5 boroughs of New York City. For remote: Have access to the Internet, quiet workspace, and computer/phone. Be able to pass a background check.
