Performs general office duties to support Sales & Catering (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying). Promotes awareness of brand image internally and externally. Prepares and distributes sales-related documents, including banquet event orders, throughout the sales process. Attends and directs BEO meetings in coordination with sales and banquet team. Uses sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty. Verify accounting information at point of contract turnover, to include estimated billing, payment methods. Answers guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). Confers with guests and department heads to plan function details, such as space requirements, agenda, food service, floorplans, audio visual needs and decor, after contract has been signed by client and sales representative. Coordinates with offsite vendors for deliveries, setups, and inventory. Works directly with clients and banquet operations during functions as primary client liaison for a successful meeting experience. Resolves problems day of event, such as setup adjustments and needs for additional equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Promotes superior guest service. Minimum Qualifications Prior convention, banquet and hotel coordinator experience preferred. Experience in guest service and event planning/organizing required. Must have ability to manage multiple priorities and excellent computer skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint). Previous experience with Delphi or other sales detailing software required. Ability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays as required. #wewantyou Work Shift: Regular
