Derivatives Portfolio Manager

The Derivatives Portfolio Manager will manage key aspects of derivative trading for the portfolio management team. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of derivatives products (including but not limited to equity options, index futures, and interest rate swaps), advanced financial modeling skills, and experience managing complex portfolios across multiple asset classes. The role requires excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines. The preferred primary work location for this role will be West Chester, Pennsylvania with secondary preference to our New York City work location.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage and execute the entire lifecycle of derivative positions, including trade entry, position monitoring, and risk reporting.

Lead a global team of derivative traders and analysts.

Collaborate with senior leaders on developing and implementing strategies related to risk management, market access, and portfolio optimization.

Develop and maintain relationships with external counterparties and internal teams.

Analyze market trends and develop investment strategies based on macroeconomic insights.

Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as P&L, volatility, and risk exposure.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Contribute to the development of new tools and processes to streamline workflows. Key Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance or economics preferred.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required; prior experience managing derivatives desirable.

Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly fixed income, currency, and equities.

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire others.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.

Highly organized individual capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
