Location: Phoenix, AZ Position Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining and interpreting cellular samples to assist in the diagnosis of diseases, including cancer. Responsibilities: Analyze and evaluate cellular specimens for diagnostic purposes. Prepare and stain slides using various techniques. Collaborate with pathologists to provide accurate diagnoses. Maintain and ensure compliance with quality control protocols. Educate healthcare staff and patients about cytology procedures. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Cytotechnology or a related field. Current certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent. Must be current with Pap PT and ASCPCM up to date, if applicable. Preferably willing to screen NGYN and FNA specimens. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Schedule: All day shift, 40 hours per week.
