Protection Starts with People. Proofpoint. We're looking for a hands-on, results-driven Program Director to lead the execution of multi-year migration program. This is a high-impact role responsible for orchestrating the migration of hundreds of enterprise customers to our next-generation platform. You'll lead cross-functional planning and delivery across engineering, product, customer success, and professional services. Your mission is to drive consistent execution, eliminate roadblocks, and ensure our customers transition successfully with minimal disruption. Own the program end-to-end: Drive roadmap execution across multiple release phases, customer cohorts, and internal teams. Lead cross-functional coordination across engineering, product, support, PS, and account teams to ensure alignment. Manage planning and delivery for high-volume migrations, with monthly pacing up to 50+ migrations per month. Drive customer readiness and onboarding plans for enterprise customers with complex compliance, eDiscovery, or supervision needs. Track program KPIs and report progress regularly to executive stakeholders; escalate risks with clear action plans. Develop and enforce governance around timelines, scope, milestones, and change control. Support customer engagement strategies and help resolve escalations related to migration friction or missed expectations. Required: 10+ years of experience in program management or professional services leadership roles. Demonstrated success managing large, multi-year customer-facing programs Experience in enterprise SaaS, cloud migration, or compliance-focused platforms. Strong operational chopsable to manage timelines, dependencies, and competing priorities at scale. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with execs and enterprise customers. Experience with program-level reporting and tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Salesforce, etc.). Nice to Have: Knowledge of archiving, eDiscovery, or supervision solutions. Familiarity with regulated industries like financial services or healthcare. PMP or equivalent certification a plus.
