Schedule: Full Time Location: AdventHealth Daytona Beach 770 W Granada Boulevard Ormond Beach, FL 32174 The role youll contribute: Under the general direction of the Regional Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting in the planning and managing of fiscal operations. May be responsible for a particular aspect of the Volusia/Flagler Region (the "Region") fiscal operations, i.e., payroll taxation, fixed assets, etc. or may be the financial coordinator for a specific business unit under the Region. Maintains established standards and protocols of the assigned unit and the Central Florida Division North Region's goals and objectives. The value youll bring to the team: Coordinates monthly closing for specific hospital, entity or department. (General Ledger) Assists with closing the ledgers each month and at year-end, i.e., preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, reconciling balance sheet accounts. Responsible for insuring that monthly regulatory, corporate, and internal deadlines are achieved. (General Ledger) Assists Regional Accounting Manager with preparation and accuracy of monthly internal financial statements for all Region entities Reconcile assigned bank and investment accounts to the General Ledger on a monthly basis.
