This position is to maintain plant instrumentation, including preventative maintenance and breakdowns. The job encompasses installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation and test equipment used to control and measure variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, motion, force, and chemical composition. Responsibilities

This is a field maintenance position required to complete instrumentation troubleshooting and repairs in a large and complex chemical process facility. Maintain plant instrumentation. Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks and complete work request. Perform calibrations per proper procedures. Installation and checkout of plant instrumentation. Assist in start-up of new installations. Assist Manufacturing and Engineering or instrument related issues. Assure completion of proper documentation. Proper use and maintenance of test equipment. Assist in stocking spare equipment and parts. Develop skills via formal training and self-study. Assist in the development and training of newer employees. Available for OT/emergency call-ins. Attend all safety meetings. Adhere to all safety standards and good housekeeping practices. Must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Corporate environmental, safety, and health regulations. Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required. 4 or more years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience. Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card. Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed for plant turnarounds, shutdowns, and emergency call-ins (Weekends or Holidays). Essential functions of this position may require, among other things, that the employee use particular types of equipment -- such as on-site safety equipment that has specific weight limitations whereby the individual's own weight, plus the weight of tools and other items and materials, must not exceed a certain threshold. (For example, some types of safety equipment may be rated for a maximum weight limit of 300 pounds total.)
