We are seeking a Network Operator to join our team supporting Navy Enterprise Voice & Video System - Network Operations Center (NOC) in Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. This role provides Tier I and Tier II network monitoring and incident resolution services for unclassified telecommunications and voice/video services supporting Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) and its annexes. Responsibilities include: Monitor and manage network performance, faults, and incidents using established tools and protocols. Provide Tier I support: respond to end-user issues, resolve common problems via scripts or SOPs, and escalate as needed. Provide Tier II support: perform in-depth troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of complex issues with voice/video networks. Support system fault isolation and coordinate with Government field service technicians to resolve outages and enable new services. Maintain accurate documentation for circuit layout records (CLRs), incident logs, and performance metrics. Interface with other IT teams and stakeholders to support integrated NOC functions. Operate within a 24/7/365 environment, including holidays and weekends, via rotating shifts. Comply with all physical and information security standards and procedures. Required qualifications include: Active DoD Secret security clearance required at time of hire. Active Work Role ID: 441 Certification: Security +, CISCO CCNA Security, GSEC, SSCP. 1-3 years of experience in network operations, telecommunications, or helpdesk/NOC environments. Working knowledge of VoIP technologies, preferably AVAYA systems; certification or equivalent experience required. Familiarity with incident response tools, ticketing systems, and standard operating procedures. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Must be able to read and follow technical documentation and procedures in English. Desired qualifications include: AVAYA VoIP certification or similar network management certification. Prior experience supporting DoD or federal telecommunications infrastructure. Familiarity with CWF Code 441 - Network Operations Specialist baseline requirements (DoD 8140.03). Work environment and physical demands include: Location: Onsite coverage at NCTAMS PAC's JBPHH Facility Type of environment: Office Noise level: Medium Work schedule: Rotating shift work, including weekends and holidays, required to maintain 24/7 coverage. Amount of Travel: up to 10% Physical demands include: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work authorization/security clearance: US Citizenship Clearance requirement: Active Secret (T3 Investigation) Wage information: Target salary range: $82,000.00 - $89,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
