Position: Slitter Operator I Location: Waco, Texas Wage: $21.65 Job Status: Full Time Work Schedule: Rotating shifts; 7am

3pm; 3pm

11pm; 11pm

7am; rotate every four weeks. While reporting to the Shift Supervisor as the Slitter Operator I, you will be responsible for preparing packages according to written or computer-generated orders. Essential Functions

Operate slitter machine as directed by SOP's and Management. Understand scheduling and how to read our schedule. Fill out necessary job/quality/cleaning sheets daily. When roll wrapping, you will inspect rewound rolls and label properly. Perform quality checks on all material ran through the machine. Learn and understand our ERP system. Correct any issues that arise from machine operation. Make sure produced rolls at slitter are wound correctly. Make sure your slitter assistants provide you with the correct packing supplies. Take ownership of your area and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow GMP's and production SOP's. Paperwork

administrative duties. Report all unsafe acts and conditions to the department group leaders and managers immediately. Responsible for quality and safety and safe operational procedures. Regular, consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to the job. Report all Food Safety violations to management. Follow all safety rules. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and mandatory overtime when needed. All other duties assigned by manager. Qualifications

Must have good reading and math skills to properly understand and run orders and be able to read ruler and measure in inches (to 1/16"), centimeters and millimeters. Requires the ability to understand work orders as it relates to customer specifications on the work order. Can read and interpret work orders, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch or crawl, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
