We are seeking a Sr. Director of Global Sourcing - Hardgoods to join our talented team. In this role, you will orchestrate the execution of near-term initiatives that drive company strategic goals and develop/implement the long-range enterprise-wide hardgoods sourcing strategy. This includes partnering closely with product teams across our portfolio of brands to collaboratively define and refine an optimized sourcing strategy that meets margin objectives, consumer expectations, supports unique needs such as innovation and sustainability but also builds scale and leverage when and where possible. You will also oversee supplier governance and establish/foster supplier partnerships and influence performance metric improvements. This position reports to the VP of Strategic Sourcing, Procurement & Supplier Quality and is based out of our Irvine, CA headquarters. As the Sr. Director of Global Sourcing, you will have an opportunity to: Definition, implementation, and communication of a near-term initiatives and long-term hardgoods sourcing strategy to improve leverage, service, quality and total cost of ownership across a global spend portfolio while also balancing diversification and risk and supporting category needs Leadership of the sourcing and supply chain teams, including organizational planning, hiring/onboarding, development and direct oversight of the hardgoods sourcing team Oversee and support the seasonal sourcing process across hardgood brands/categories while ensuring adherence to timelines and profitability goals Identify, manage and develop key supplier relationships and collaboratively drive performance, cost excellence, innovation, and sustainability Effectively drive and manage change across different functions in the business, applying best-practices with regards to communication and project management You have: Bachelor's degree at a minimum, advanced studies in a relevant field preferred 10+ years of consumer products industry experience in global strategic sourcing or procurement including supplier selection, management, and contract negotiations and 5+ years of experience leading teams Advanced knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain and extensive travel experience Strong influencing/negotiation skills and change management experience with the ability to successfully manage complexity and multiple priorities Ability to take accountability for driving results and ability to lead multiple projects Strong financial acumen, analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Natural ability to develop and maintain trust and rapport with key partners, regardless of location, language and cultural background and strong baseline understanding of political trends in all relevant sourcing geographies Fluent understanding of the Go-to-market processes, encompassing product creation, purchasing & planning, logistics, and warehousing & demand fulfillment Pay Range: Annual Salary: $170,000.00 - $190,000.00. The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
