Primary Care/Sports Medicine Physician Opportunity
The West Virginia University Health System (WVUHS) Medical Group seeks a Primary Care/Sports Medicine Physician to practice in Wheeling, WV. The WVU Health System is the state's largest health system and largest private employer, comprising 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. It includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of Primary Care Sports Medicine. Qualifications: Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Successful candidates must have completed a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Med-Peds, or Emergency Medicine residency program, along with a Sports Medicine fellowship. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Med-Peds, or Emergency Medicine. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
