GIS Analyst
Selectek is seeking candidates for a GIS Analyst with an engineering firm that primarily supports telecommunications companies around the Kansas City area. Title: GIS Analyst Location: Kansas City, KS Expected Pay Range: $24-32 per hour This company is on a Monday-Friday, eight hour per day schedule with possibility of flexible schedule once candidates are established in their role. Candidates for these roles must be knowledgeable about ESRI software packages, and experience with AutoCAD is a plus. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in either Geography or Geospatial Science and possess strong skills with ESRI software products such as ArcMap or ArcGIS. Job Duties: Ensure databases related to network design are accurate/complete Update as-built information into design software and/or client database Conduct research to find GIS information related to road types, addresses, utility information, etc., so that engineering teams can perform fiber optic designs.
