Pic Fab Technical Program Manager
Sunnyvale, CA Nokia is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead/support the start-up, qualification, and volume ramp phases of our new InP Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) fabrication facility in San Jose, CA. This cross-functional role requires working closely with our Engineering and Operations teams in the early phases, and alignment with a much broader array of internal functions including R&D, Quality, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance and Product Marketing in later phases. The TPM will be responsible for building/maintaining a detailed plan and schedule, and ensuring that key milestones are reached on schedule. Key objectives will be to proactively identify and execute on opportunities to de-risk / pull-in the Fab schedule, and to identify and eliminate barriers to progress. The TPM must also maintain alignment of the Fab plan/schedule with development, production and product teams that rely upon timely bring-up and qualification of the new Fab. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in program management or technical program management in a semiconductor-related environment Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Industrial Engineering or a related field Formal training in technical program management is strongly desired Familiarity with principles of semiconductor manufacturing, including basic knowledge of key fab technologies including photolithography, deposition, etch, etc. is required Experience in a compound semiconductor fab or silicon fab is a strongly desired Experience as a TPM in a semiconductor-related product development role is a plus Experience with government funded program/project management would be a plus This role requires on-site work with Infinera's teams in Sunnyvale and San Jose, CA Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
