Job Overview

Provides safe, competent nursing care for employees and candidates in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. General: Performs health assessments for new employees of LWRMC. Performs workers' compensation medical triage and follow-up for exposure to infectious diseases. Provides nursing care for employees. Establishes and maintains the employee, volunteer, and contractor health records. Meets and maintains OSHA's standards through tuberculosis screening and fit test program. Provides protection for employees from select communicable diseases by administering vaccines, when indicated. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire. Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License. Prefer one year, full-time or 3 years, part-time experience in acute care setting.
