Quality Technician
Position Title: Quality Technician - 2nd Shift Wage: $18.00 - $20.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 4:00pm

Quality Technician Responsibilities: Ensure customer specifications are met by performing statistical process control, capability studies and analysis Create and maintain data records Perform / conduct capability studies and analysis as directed by the Quality Control Manager Drive calibration program Perform hourly check pin maintenance (SPIRIT)
weigh, measure, test and summarize inspection data for analysis Maintain statistical records having to do with quality, nature, cause of defects Receive inspection inserts Complete 2-hour inspections
weight (once/shift, color verification (once/shift, s/u), dimensional as needed Document and maintain record of findings Retain / check raw material color chips (retain certifications and chips) RTC Checks when running
2 skids/shifts, 2 boxes/hr, Freezer/Sling Shot test, Spring Torsion Check, Impact test Requirements for Quality Technician: Working knowledge of current measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, comparators and coordinate measuring machines (operation and programming) Working knowledge of statistical process control Basic math, computer and blueprint skills High School Diploma; Undergraduate preferred At least five years of related experience (calibration, measuring and tolerances, ISO) Able to lift up to 50lbs Able to multi-task in deadline-driven environment Able to work independently and in a team QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
