Interoperability T&E Analyst

Agile Defense is seeking an Geospatial-Intelligence Imagery Interoperability Test and Evaluation Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test, Evaluation, and Certification (TEC) contract at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. The selected candidate will join the Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Test, Evaluation, and Certification team and perform analytical work in support of testing, evaluation, and certification of IT/NSS related to National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG)/Allied System for Geospatial Intelligence (ASG). GEOINT capabilities tested range from format processors, common repositories, imagery guards, data discovery applications, exploitation and enhancement applications, specialized products, and web based GEOINT services. The selected candidate will apply common T&E processes that include identifying requirements, verifying user needs, developing evaluation approaches, collecting data, analyzing data, and reporting findings. The selected candidate will perform GEOINT test planning and conduct standards conformance and interoperability testing and evaluation, to include analyzing test results and preparing thorough, accurate, and complete formal test documentation. May provide consultation on complex projects and be a top-level contributor/specialist in their department. Specific duties include: Apply technical knowledge to perform test planning for collecting data and analyzing the results of NGA Test Organization (NTO)-conducted tests of NGA products and services that support GEOINT missions worldwide. Develops test plans in collaboration with NTO test directors and system design engineers. Analyzes test results and drafts thorough, accurate, and complete formal test documentation. Prepares and presents technical test results and operational impacts to government customers and system developers for corrective action. Recommends adjustments to the T&E process or detailed procedures if appropriate. Relies on manual methods and automated test tools to execute the assessment of collected test data. Inspects, tests, and measures GEOINT data produced or consumed. Documents and briefs results. Records all initial findings, conducts data analysis of raw data to determine operational impact and documents final test results. Accounts for anomalies and deficiencies identified during testing, notifies customers and leadership, and may help analyze and/or correct problems. Participates in various teleconferences, meetings and working groups. Provides administrative task support such as Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), Weekly Status Reports (WARs) and meeting minutes. Qualifications: Required Certifications: Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization. Education, Background, and Years of Experience: Requires a Master's degree; or a Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; or 10 years of experience. One year of experience can be substituted by 15 semester hours completed towards a Master's degree. Additional certifications in the area of specialization may be substituted for experience but varies by certification. The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Required Skills: This position requires a Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI on hire date and must be able to obtain a CI polygraph. Current TS/SCI with CI polygraph is desired. Knowledge of the GEOINT community and work experience. Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, cross-functional teams, internal/external customers, and end-users. Possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established timetables. Good communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Familiar with DoD operations, IT systems and software. Familiar with and actively using the Microsoft Office suite. Preferred Skills: Imagery metadata analysis experience. Software development experience. Working Conditions: Environmental Conditions: Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Strength Demands: Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required.
