About the Role: This role splits between two key responsibilities: 1520 hours/week of technical, mechanical, or maintenance work The remainder spent operating and maintaining the plant's ALAR water treatment system This position is vital to the client's environmental operations and requires someone confident with transfer tanks, pumps, chemical metering, sanitation equipment, and hydraulic systems. What You'll Do: Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ALAR wastewater treatment systems Handle pumps, valves, manifolds, chemical feed systems, and filtration units Perform sample collection, lab testing, and process adjustments Conduct preventive maintenance and light repairs on equipment Maintain accurate logs and follow strict safety/environmental protocols Work Experience What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate: Hands-on experience with ALAR wastewater systems Technical or mechanical backgroundmaintenance, sanitation, or equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with wastewater systems, including chemical dosing and quality testing Strong attention to detail and safety practices Wastewater certification or willingness to earn one Reliable, punctual, and a team player. Fluency in English, Spanish, or both is welcome! Bonus points if your experience includes: Hydro-agriculture operations Complex food manufacturing, such as slurry processing, retort canning, or hot batch liquid food production Working in municipal water or wastewater treatment, including former city sewer or water departments We don't hire temps, we hire
