The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing. The PSR I has a customer service approach to all responsibilities. The PSR I ensures the comfort of patients, including patient handling and transport. The PSR I maintains a clean and orderly environment in the phlebotomy ship and front desk area. The PSR I maintains effective relationships with patients and staff. The PSR I maintains techniques for drawing blood and communicates with a physician when samples are insufficient. The PSR I not only ensures the best experience for the patient but also humanizes each patient experience.
