The County of Sacramento is offering a position with a salary range of $114,401.52 to $139,060.80 annually. The job is located in Sacramento, CA and is a permanent full-time position with job number 29148-D within the DHHS - Health & Human Services department. The position involves an additional 3.35% Management Differential added to the posted salary. This is a continuous filing exam with next filing cut-offs at 5:00 pm on specific dates. The role requires knowledge of mental health administration, organization and supervision principles, budget preparation, contract negotiation, public personnel management, clinical interviewing, and more. The ability to manage a 24-hour mental health treatment facility, ensure staff and patient safety, plan and coordinate mental health care programs, supervise multi-disciplinary staff, integrate philosophical principles into patient care, analyze management situations, evaluate program operations, interpret laws, monitor budgets, establish working relationships, and communicate effectively are essential. Minimum qualifications include a valid license from the State of California as a Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Registered Nurse, and either two years of experience coordinating/supervising mental health programs or two years in the class of Mental Health Counselor, Psychiatric Nurse, Senior Mental Health Counselor, Senior Psychiatric Nurse, or Supervising Deputy Public Guardian/Conservator in Sacramento County service.
