Technology Protection Engineer II

In particular, we are seeking an experienced Technology Protection Engineer II to primarily support our ARTPC program. This position is located on-site 5 days per week in Aberdeen, MD. Seniority of this role: Mid-Level Clearance Required for this role: Active TS/SCI Position Summary: ABSC is seeking a Mid-Level Engineer with a TS/SCI for the Army Research and Technology Protection Center (ARTPC) program. In this role, you will provide research and technology protection (RTP) support to the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Headquarters (HQ) and its Major Subordinate Commands (MSC) and activities. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Working alongside security specialists to provide engineering and technical insights and functional decompositions of the Armys most sensitive technologies. Providing support to Government Program Managers and Senior Engineers to influence proper identification of Critical Program Information (CPI), Critical Components (CC), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and Controlled Technical Information (CTI). Providing recommendations to Government Security Officers (SSO) and delivering findings to support the Government in its development of effective Program Protection Plans. Ensuring Program Protection Plans (PPP) are satisfactorily implemented at Government as well as defense contractor facilities where CPI resides. Experience Required for this Role: Minimum of 4 years of experience in an engineering role. Demonstrated experience in engineering concepts, including requirements analysis, software architecture, test methods, and functional decomposition. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making. Education Required for this Role: Bachelors degree (or higher) in an Engineering (any discipline). Salary is commensurate with experience. Salary range for this requisition is: $125-142k.
