IT Diligence Senior Associate

As an IT Diligence Senior Associate, you'll help the organizations clients solve their toughest problems and develop value creation strategies that result in real impact for the Transaction Advisory Practice. Our Enterprise Diligence solution is comprised of several integrated capabilities that support our clients' needs throughout the transaction lifecycle. We support our clients in all aspects of their business cycle, whether you're looking at a transaction to propel your company forward, focusing on developing and implementing the right controls to mitigate risk, or advancing your company's finance and technology infrastructure to match your aspirations. From day one, you'll be empowered to help clients make the moves that will help them achieve their vision and help you achieve more, confidently. Your day-to-day may include: Work as part of a cross functional leadership team to manage, execute and deliver IT due diligence, IT integration and/or separation planning efforts to private equity and strategic buyers Serve as an advisor to our clients in support of their strategic initiatives in a transaction which includes rapidly assessing the IT operating model while identifying key areas of risk and quantifying the efforts to remediate as they relate to the client's proposed investment thesis Ability to deliver our IT due diligence services including the development of high-quality value driven reports and financial models based on the impacts from a transaction Support our clients through the transaction life cycle from diligence through Transition Service Agreements and Day 1/90 planning as they navigate the complexities of integration or separation Perform detailed analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, documenting conclusions, and providing recommendations Assist practice leadership with budgets, and work plans Assist in training sessions on enterprise diligence for IT and best practices for using IT integration and separation tools to deliver transaction advisory solutions Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization) Other duties as assigned You have the following technical skills and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information Technology, Accounting or similar required, MBA with MIS or similar degree concentration preferred Minimum 2 years experience of IT due diligence, operational diligence, or integrations & separations within the transaction's life cycle required Pursue industry recognized professional certification such as PMI/PMP, MA&P, CPA, CPMI a plus Understanding of the IT Operating Model including end-to-end software development frameworks, IT budget and cost modeling, IT Transition Service Agreement development and negotiation, IT governance and operations Experience supporting large-scale technology integration / separation projects required Experience analyzing complex quantitative / qualitative data and synthesizing output Experience writing business cases (financial, quantitative, and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives Strong interpersonal skills with experience working in cross-functional teams Can travel as needed. Expected travel is up to 50% The base salary range for this position varies by location. In the firm's Los Angeles, CA office only, it is between $103,700 and $155,500. In the firm's Chicago, IL office only, it is between $96,000 and $144,000. In the firm's Bellevue, WA office only, it is between $103,700 and $155,500.
