Corporate Controller
to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a relationship-driven, family-business culture and will embrace our field-based operationsspending time in the field, understanding our skilled workforce, and helping keep them safe. What You'll Do: Lead corporate accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and treasury Oversee the month-end close process in collaboration with a team of Divisional Controllers Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other regulations Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Provide financial insights and recommendations to support senior leadership decisions Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets Coordinate audits and tax filings with external partners Optimize accounting systems, processes, and reporting capabilities What We're Looking For: Strong technical accounting expertise, including GAAP and IFRS compliance Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Background in internal controls, risk management, and audit oversight Experience managing ERP or large-scale accounting systems (Sage, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams Exceptional communication and collaboration skills High ethical standards and meticulous attention to detail Leadership Scope: This role oversees an Accounting Manager and an AP Supervisor, leading a team of approximately 10 individuals, and works closely with Divisional Controllers across the organization. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or MBA Preferred) Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Corporate Accounting or Finance leadership role Proven experience managing teams, including direct reports and cross-functional teams Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills; initiative and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects Effective verbal and written communication skills Solid grasp of mathematics, financial principles and complex spreadsheets Why Join Gothic Landscape: Be part of a
