FPGA Design Engineer
You will be an FPGA Design Engineer for our team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing video data management and processing solutions using Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Our team is responsible for creating innovative systems that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. As an FPGA Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing FPGA-based systems. Your responsibilities will include: Defining FPGA architecture and developing SystemVerilog programmable logic Designing and implementing interfaces to ancillary hardware via PCIe, Ethernet, and other protocols Integrating, testing, verifying, and validating multiple subsystems to ensure seamless functionality Coordinating and supporting design assurance reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented FPGA Design Engineer to join our team. As an ideal candidate, you're an experienced FPGA engineer with a strong background in FPGA design, development, and implementation. Prior experience with AMD/Xilinx FPGAs, UVM, and GitLab is a plus. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or System Verilog Experience in Hardware-Software Integration and Validation Familiarity with FPGA toolsets Needs ability to obtain/maintain a secret clearance. US citizenship required. Desired Skills: Experience with management of Configuration Control (GitLab preferred) Team and Design lead experience Experience with Microchip (MicroSemi) and Libero SoC Design toolsets Familiarity with FPGA Vivado/Vitis toolsets Experience with UVM Experience working with Polarfire devices Experience with C/C++ programming Experience with troubleshooting and debugging with board-level testing and FPGA validation Experience in ASIC / FPGA life cycle (architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration & test) Expert programming Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) or Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLD) Comfortable using digital oscilloscopes, power meters, and other test equipment Experience with standard complex subsystem interfaces using PCIe, Ethernet, etc. Experience with electronics design and troubleshooting activities Experience Integrating HW and SW Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
