The Director of Payroll is a vital role within Bell's organization, responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll department. This position ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and effective coordination with other departments. The Payroll Director will play a key role in implementing payroll systems and processes that support the organization's strategic objectives. The Director of Payroll will work in a dynamic and fast-paced office environment. This role requires occasional travel to external meetings. The individual must be able to handle high-pressure situations and manage competing priorities effectively. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Oversee payroll processing Ensure compliance System implementation Reporting and analysis Policy development Training and development Audits and reconciliations Vendor management Budget management Collaboration Additional Functions and Responsibilities
Additional duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational and time management skills Experience with Workday is strongly preferred Experience in a large, complex organization strongly preferred Education and Background:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field At least 5-7 years of experience in payroll management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred Proficiency in payroll software, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite About Bell Partners Our purpose at Bell Partners is to create communities our residents are proud to call home.
