Staff Front-End Typescript Engineer

About The Team: We are seeking an exceptional Staff Front-End Typescript Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our web applications. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Typescript, expertise in either React or Angular, and a proven track record of creating federated UI components. Experience leveraging AI in the development process is a significant advantage. How You'll Make An Impact Team Collaboration Software Design and Architecture Project Implementation Product Proficiency Leadership How You'll Make An Impact Experience You'll Bring Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; OR demonstrable equivalent experience. Extensive Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on Typescript, React or Angular, and federated UI architectures. Deep Technical Expertise: A profound understanding of core Typescript concepts, including ES6+, asynchronous programming, and DOM manipulation. Mastery of React or Angular, including state management, component lifecycle, and routing. AI Proficiency: Demonstrable experience or a strong interest in applying AI and machine learning techniques to front-end development. Architectural Acumen: Ability to design and implement scalable and maintainable front-end architectures, with a focus on modularity, reusability, and testability. Problem-Solving Skills: A knack for tackling complex technical challenges and devising creative solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Team Player: A collaborative and supportive team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Technology Must-Haves: Experience with TypeScript Experience with GraphQL Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Experience with Agile development methodologies The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
