Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is a 182-bed treatment facility, conveniently located in beautiful Oakland Park, FL that specializes in the successful treatment of substance abuse and mental health issues for youth, adults and seniors. Qualifications: Education/Training: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Therapeutic Recreation, Activity Therapy creative/expressive arts, social work, or another appropriate discipline preferred. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent Experience: Two (2) years related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques, an understanding of mental illness, chemical dependency, and co-occurring disorders.
