Corporate Banking Manager
Oversee and direct the corporate banking activities for credit risk underwriting and portfolio management within the U.S. Manage preparation of underwriting material for assigned client portfolio. Oversee the construction of credit proposals and ratings, including the pipeline of transactions, rating renewals and facility renewals of the portfolio. Maintain clear communication with Relationship Managers, Product Specialists, Credit Risk officers, and Legal Counsel, relating to transactions and rating changes. Mentor and develop the skillset of Junior Credit professionals. Anticipate changes to clients' risk profile that could impact the Bank's decision to allocate its capital, aiming to minimize risks and improve returns. Maintain accurate and complete credit files, and assess covenant compliance and quarterly ratings triggers. Requirements: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Analytics or Statistics plus 2 years of experience in the position offered or an underwriting and portfolio management position at a global investment bank. All of the required experience must have included: managing a portfolio of corporate banking clients; performing statistical analysis, credit analysis, financial analysis and loan underwriting; assessing credit risk and evaluating loan applications to manage credit risks in corporate banking, commercial banking, and leveraged finance transactions; assessing clients' financial performance based on historical data, industry trends, and competitors research using S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Moody's and Credit Sights; using analytical methods including discounted cash flow analysis for valuation; analyzing legal documentation such as credit agreements, compliance reviews and memorandums; identifying potential credit risks and preparing quarterly risk and portfolio reports and presentations detailing trends and forecasts for senior management; mentoring junior members of the team; and developing relevant credit risk procedures, risk models and drivers, and monitoring adherence to them. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. Minimum Salary: 225,000 Maximum Salary: 250,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
