Machine Operator
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machine Operator- Saw / Punch Press Location: Highland, NY Pay Range: Starting at $17.00/hr Shift: Monday - Thursday 2pm-12:30am- No Fridays! What's the Job? Operate a variety of machines in the factory including sheet metal punching and forming, drilling, tapping, cutting, bending, and sanding. Interface with other departments to accomplish tasks and ensure smooth operations. Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors. Maintain a clean work area as required to promote safety and efficiency. Perform computer transactions accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures. What's Needed? Prefer machine shop experience and familiarity with manufacturing and power tools. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Experience operating a variety of basic and complex machinery such as Up Cut Saw, Drill Press, and Hem Saw. What's in it for me?
