Operational Requirements Analyst - Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) SME
KBR is seeking a US Space Force (USSF) Operational Requirements Analyst to work at the Pentagon. The Operational Requirements Analyst will support the USSF Headquarters Staff, office of the Chief of Strategy and Resourcing (CSRO), Directorate of Space Requirements (S5R). The USSF is a military service that organizes, trains, and equips space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force. The Directorate of Requirements is responsible for developing and integrating Joint Space Requirements for the DoD. Required: Demonstrated understanding of Space enterprise to include DoD requirements, acquisition, and budgeting processes and applicable Defense Space guidance and policy. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, lead and execute requirements projects and outbrief results to senior leadership. The candidate will be capable of applying principles, theories and concepts related to: US, allied, partner, and adversary Global Navigation Space Systems (i.e., GPS, Galileo, GLONASS); Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR), ground control systems (i.e., OCX); and ground user elements (i.e., MGUE). Experience with both USSF and USAF PNT programs, understanding the PNT governance hierarchy Knowledge of: USAF Programs: R-EGI, EGI, EGI-M, SDUE; USSF Programs: GPS III, GPS IIIF, OCX, OCX IIIF, (possibly R-GPS), (possibly PNT-SA); Joint Programs: MGUE Increment 1, MGUE Increment 2 Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent, plus 12+ yrs. applicable experience in Service, COCOM, and/or Joint Capabilities development Must have an active TS/SCI clearance Desired: Master's degree in relevant field. 15+ years experience in an Ops, engineering, scientific, analysis, policy and/or planning field related to Defense Space - HQ AF/SAF/Joint staff experience within the past 3 years Experience editing Joint Requirements documentation - Experience with space system Acquisitions Experience with staffing tools such as: Task Management Tool (TMT), Knowledge Management/Decision Support (KM/DS) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 KBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
