Quality Control Manager
Location: Fort Collins, CO (covering Denver, CO) Salary range $91K to 100K yearly Mon-Fri Benefits: 100% Health coverage with Cigna, retirement plant, shares, etc Responsibilities: Implement and manage QC program in collaboration with the project superintendent. Work closely with PM and PS to resolve quality issues. Participate in the start-up and implementation of the six step quality control/safety process. Lead a weekly QC meetings. Assist with the development of the preparatory meeting agendas and participate in the preparatory meeting prior to the start of each definable feature of work. Interface direct with owners quality assurance and management on all quality related issues. Review initial and follow up inspection reports, punch list items, and close-in inspection results. Aware of the contract, plans, specifications, and applicable codes. Submit and review RFIs to ensure changes are implemented in the field. Document and submit daily report of quality control activity. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture, or Construction management. 5-7 years of experience in commercial construction industry. Valid Driver License. ICC building inspector certification and/or state qualification on DSA or HCAI. Certification on scissor and/or boom lifts. Comfortable working with MS Office (excel), Primavera, and AutoCAD. Experience managing employees. Strong communication skills. Strong proficiency in lean six sigma.
