After School Program Supervisor

We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Program Supervisors for our After School Program at Townsend Elementary School in Walton, NY. Pay: $15.75 per hour Schedule: 2:45-5:15pm Job Status: Part-time, non-exempt Job consists of: Direct hands-on activities following our Healthy Kids Curriculum Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment where kids can thrive Assist the Site Director with certain management functions Provide continual communication with parents and family members Follow OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school's rules Regularly meet with the Director to make decisions, solve problems, and strategize Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age. OR School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age; OR Associate's degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field. Qualifications: Background check, including fingerprinting, references, SEL & SCR through NYS Office of Children and Family Services Medically fit to rock all the job duties and free of any communicable diseases including TB Warm, friendly, and upbeat with exceptional people skills Ready to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.)
