Embedded Software Engineer

Will work in teams to develop embedded software in support of US Navy's sonar and anti-submarine warfare mission. Will develop models and algorithms in MATLAB and C/C++ to enhance and augment the sonar and other auxiliary Submarine Systems. Will use C/C++ programming language to implement acoustic processing solutions based on algorithms developed by Systems Engineering and Signal Processing engineers. This developed code must be optimized to operate within the boats allocation of processors and memory footprint. Candidate will conduct integration and provide test support and problem resolution across system variants. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience. Signal Processing. Agile Experience. Desired skills: Minor in Mathematics/Physics Experience in Undersea Acoustics C/C++ Python Matlab This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
