Job Overview

The FP&A Sr. Analyst is a key finance partner for GBC Food Services, supporting a high-transactional, multi-business unit organization with advanced financial analysis, modeling, and reporting. This role is responsible for synthesizing complex business data and presenting actionable insights to senior leadership. The FP&A Sr. Analyst collaborates regularly with other functional areasincluding Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, and Franchise Supportto ensure alignment of financial goals, accurate reporting, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in FP&A and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Key Responsibilities Lead all FP&A activities for multiple business units within a high-transactional environment, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range planning. Prepare and deliver regular financial presentations, dashboards, and business reviews for senior leadership and executive management. Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess profitability, pricing, business cases, and ROI for franchise and host location initiatives. Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Franchise Support, and especially Accounting to ensure data integrity, streamlined processes, and effective problem-solving. Analyze trends in revenue, costs, and profitability across multiple lines of business; identify risks and opportunities. Enhance financial planning and reporting processes, leveraging NetSuite and other analytics tools for automation and scalability. Support and, when appropriate, lead key projects such as business integration, ERP improvements, and process redesigns. Assist in financial due diligence for new business ventures, franchise openings, and major projects. Provide ad hoc analysis and actionable recommendations to senior leaders and department heads. Mentor junior analysts as needed and foster a culture of analytical rigor and business partnership. Competencies Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation capabilities; able to translate complex data for senior leaders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-driven. Strong business acumen, with an understanding of multi-unit, high-transactional operations. Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; NetSuite experience highly preferred. Familiarity with financial reporting/analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) a plus. Required Skills/Abilities Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Expertise with NetSuite financial systems (preferred); experience with other ERP/accounting software and data tools strongly valued. Strong foundation in financial statement analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within a complex, multi-entity environment. Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and support cross-functional teams, especially Accounting. Experience in multi-unit retail, food service, or franchising environments is highly desirable. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required. MBA or CPA preferred. 47 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related finance roles, ideally supporting multi-business unit or high-transactional companies. Direct experience with NetSuite financials strongly preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional travel to host locations, franchise sites, or other business units as required. Work Environment Primarily office-based, with regular collaboration across multiple business units and departments. Fast-paced, dynamic, and high-volume setting requiring effective multitasking and cross-functional interaction.
