Logistician I
SkyBridge Tactical is looking for a highly qualified Logistician I to provide programmatic and life cycle logistics support for current Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) projects managed by the Electro-Optic Technology Division (EOTD). This includes programmatic services, procurement documentation development, budget formulation, financial execution and tracking, and technical writing. Responsibilities include: Supply support within the total product life cycle to include support to all Electro Optic Technology Division branches and projects for the disposal of excess government, military property, and already disassembled systems through applicable disposal services, including Defense Logistics Agency disposition services. Coordination with internal and external stakeholders to gather and dispose of material, verification of items, research of demilitarization codes, organization and palletization of material, generation of DD1348's, etc., in accordance with applicable documents and processes. Conducting a quarterly or monthly meeting to brief JXQW Branch Manager on the status of disposition items in queue. Participating in Integrated Product support Team in JXQ, as needed. Maintaining status tracking worksheets on the JXQW, shared drive and manipulating the data into charts etc. as needed by JXQ management. Offering suggestions and identifying potential areas of improvement to streamline the disposition process. Updating JXQ create and update process documentation, as needed. Preparing items for disposition for packaging, safe handling, term storage and transport. Training government personnel on the DLA disposal process/requirements, as needed. Qualifications: 0-2 years of experience in DOD logistics, acquisition and program support. Proficient with computers including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Proficient in the use of database applications such as iPDM, SWMS, ERP, and SharePoint. Experienced in Inventory Data Base Management and tracking to include receipts, issues, and inventory adjustments using standard and specialized logistics inventory systems. Familiar with and able to abide by current OM&S requirements. Good communication skills both orally and written. Experience with DOD and US Navy requirements for end of life processing of obsolescence and obsolete systems and material. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted and move pallets of 100 lbs. Ability to work for prolonged periods both sitting at a desk/computer and working on their feet. Adherence to all applicable safety requirements including wearing appropriate PPE. Must pass a Department of Transportation physical for Material and Handling Equipment usage. Possess, or acquire within 45 days, MHE forklift license and government Mail Card Holder certification. Customer oriented with ability to effectively communicate across many different disciplined technical points of contact internal to JXQ and the overall NSWC organization. Ability to multitask and manage workload independently to assure mission essential schedules are met. Active DoD Secret Clearance or Interim Clearance is required.
