Database Security Specialist
This is a hybrid position to Washington, DC, but it will be relatively infrequent that you will need to be onsite. Active Secret required. This is a two-month contract. The qualified candidate will apply Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to prevent potential vulnerabilities and ensure alignment with NIST security controls. An initial manual security compliance review of a Government Oracle database with XML data residing on a Windows server has been performed using the DOD STIG Viewer tool. Required: Secret clearance BS or equivalent work experience 6-10 years of professional experience Familiarity of STIG Viewer (and SCAP tool) Strong knowledge of Oracle database. Experience applying Oracle STIGs. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or 2019.
