BIM/VDC Support Technician
Selectek is looking for a BIM/VDC Support Technician to begin working with a great client of ours in Smyrna, GA immediately. This candidate will be responsible for new project setup, database configuration, Family/ITM creation, maintaining/updating software/add-in licenses, developing/modifying prefabrication spools, and material reports, and generating layout point export. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Required by Client Over 5 years of proven experience in BIM/VDC with a Mechanical/Plumbing Contractor, applying the skills outlined below. Strong understanding and practical knowledge of the construction industry. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Aided Drafting, or a related field is advantageous. Experience in the plumbing field is a plus. Proficient in Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD MEP, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge preferred. Skilled in reading and interpreting construction and design documents independently. Experience in construction administration. Competent in MS Word, MS Excel, and Windows platforms. Exceptional organizational skills for managing and archiving technical data. Expertise in Bluebeam and file management. Knowledgeable in e-file management according to project BIM standards. Experienced with Autodesk Navisworks, including clash detection development, appearance profiler creation, and other option editor settings.
