Reporting to the Senior Program Manager of the Analytical Chemistry Group, the Analytical Scientist will be a member of the Chemistry team responsible for carrying out and developing qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to measure critical component properties required to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our existing and future display products throughout their lifecycles. Job Responsibilities: Support characterization of ePaper materials using a combination of techniques to include but not limited to GC-MS. LC-MS and NMR. Be the analytical leader in root cause investigations to determine defects/failure mechanisms in ePaper coatings and laminates. Develop and validate new quantitative analytical methods as needed to support product launch deadlines. Write SOP's to support documentation of new procedures. Be the owner responsible for maintenance and upkeep of assigned laboratory instrumentation. Manage sample workflow of assigned test requests through the lab's submission software. Skill Requirements: B.S. in Science, Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 10 years chemical laboratory experience or M.S. in Science, Engineering with minimum of 4 years lab experience In depth knowledge of and experience with quantitative gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy using a variety of sample introduction techniques (liquid injection, headspace, pyrolysis) In depth knowledge of quantitative
