Fixed Asset Staff Accountant
Our client is a leading provider of data center construction and management services. LaSalle Network has partnered with them in seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Fixed Asset Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills and a passion for contributing to the financial success of a dynamic company in the tech infrastructure industry. Fixed Asset Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
Maintain the fixed asset ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of asset records Track and record acquisitions, disposals, transfers and impairments of fixed assets Conduct periodic physical inventories of fixed assets and reconcile discrepancies Calculate and record depreciation for all fixed assets in compliance with GAAP and company policies Review and update depreciation schedules regularly to ensure accuracy Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual fixed asset reports for internal and external stakeholders Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to fixed assets Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures related to fixed asset management Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations Identify opportunities for process improvements in fixed asset accounting and reporting Implement best practices and automated solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy Work closely with the procurement, project management and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of fixed assets Provide support and training to other departments on fixed asset policies and procedures Fixed Asset Staff Accountant Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required 3+ years of fixed asset experience Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle.
