Data System Manager, Revenue Controllership
Meta is seeking a System Manager to join the Revenue Controllership team and support our system assurance function. This person will play a vital role in governing and strengthening Meta's complex global revenue systems. In this position, you will design and implement innovative, data-driven strategies and solutions that continuously enhance our revenue accounting systems and processes. You will independently lead the system readiness and compliance efforts for new product launches. Additionally, you will develop a thorough understanding of Meta's systems and code base, allowing you to evaluate downstream impacts on revenue recognition and proactively identify key risks and opportunities to reinforce the control environment. Responsibilities
Develop an end-to-end understanding of Meta's revenue products, accounting processes, system dependencies, controls, and risks Understand design of controls supporting revenue data flows and how assurance on control effectiveness is obtained Gain insight into historical system deficiencies and their impact on revenue accounting Standardize upstream data sources to improve revenue accounting accuracy Partner closely with engineering and product teams to design scalable data infrastructure and system solutions Translate complex business rules into automated system controls and monitoring mechanisms Collaborate with cross-functional partners to grasp business needs and convert complex concepts into actionable insights and recommendations Leverage internal AI tools and build AI-integrated solutions to enhance insights and operational efficiency Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience 7+ years of relevant experience in analytics, finance, engineering, or a similar field working on systems and scaling processes 3+ years of experience working with SQL in a highly complex environment Experience leading and partnering effectively with large and wide-ranging cross-functional teams Demonstrated success working with large, complex data sets in a business analytics function Experience communicating complex concepts to a wide range of audiences Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Analytics, Systems Engineering, Financial Engineering or Data Science Familiarity and/or experience with IT audits and/or SOX compliance processes 2+ years of experience with predictive modeling and/or utilizing statistical packages (R or Python) 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Familiar with accounting, controllership, internal audit, and/or risk management principles $151,000/year to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
