The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center are seeking faculty in translational biomedical imaging research. This position is available at the Associate or Full Professor level. Senior faculty appointments require a minimum of 50% salary support from external funding sources. The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University (OSU) is seeking experienced candidates for tenure-track faculty positions in translational biomedical imaging research at the rank of associate or full professor. Rank and startup package are commensurate with academic record and experience. The OSU College of Medicine and Department of Radiology have made significant commitments towards expanding medical imaging research and are seeking outstanding candidates in the field of neuroimaging who are dedicated to advancing translational research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusive excellence. We are specifically seeking candidates with interest in translational research in MRI and/or molecular imaging applications in neuroscience. Successful candidates are expected to develop and lead an independent research program and participate in institutional efforts to translate novel imaging technologies and methodologies into clinical practice. They are expected to secure grant funding, mentor trainees, and work collaboratively with investigators across the College of Medicine and the university. Requirements include an established history of research accomplishment and grant funding, active grants, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline with scientific collaboration and research interests in translational research in MRI and/or molecular imaging applications in neuroscience.
