We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to assist in financial close and bookkeeping processes, as well as financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of public accounting experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
This position will be hybrid based out of our Lehi, UT HQ.
Reports to: Accounting Manager
What You Will Own Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and other required reports.
Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet & income statement accounts and ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or progress towards CPA preferred
2-3 years of public accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
