Kitchen Helper

Our kitchen is looking for help plating our frozen meals, doing prep work and packing kids, components, and frozen meals. The successful candidate will be responsible for following Nutritics recipes, confirming correct raw materials are used, various cleaning and sanitizing work areas. Responsibilities: Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas are kept clean at all times Work with cooks to do prep work for other shifts when needed Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product High school diploma/GED required Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent verbal communication and organization skills Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for Rock Star Culinary and Hospitality Team Members who share our passion for food and service. Hospitality experience is desired and a smile is required! Depending on the location, here are examples of the types of Foodservice Worker positions available: Culinary Team Members: Our Team Members start their Culinary Career learning the front and back of the Dining Services Industry. In a hospitality driven, multi dining outlet setting, you will perform duties to include plating, set up and tear down of caf, restaurant, retail areas, or assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock, and perishable food inventories and sanitation. Must bring a strong work ethic, a smile, and enjoy working in a team environment. Line and Prep Cooks: Prepare and present delicious meals and impressive presentations following our Executive Chef Menus. Ability to inventory and portion ingredients. Additionally, assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock, and perishable food inventories and sanitation. Experience as a cook or culinary schooling would be ideal but we are willing to train the right person with a passion for food. Dietary Aids (Patient Food Service): Our Team of Dietary Aids ensure our patients and residents receive amazing in-room meals with unexpected service and smiles! Under the guidance of our Clinical Dietitian staff, our Dietary Aids ensure compliance with patient dietary instructions. Our servers assist with meal selection, tray set up, delivery, and removal of food trays with strong focus on hospitality and demonstrating compassion and amazing service to our guest Patients and Residents. Skills and Experience: Experience desired but open to train candidates with a passion for food and understands the basics Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning Be willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed Hospitality-driven Able to work and thrive in a team environment Brings a smile and strong work ethic to the team We are a family-driven company that delivers restaurant-inspired hospitality to everyone we serve.
