KCI is hiring and is seeking an experienced ADCI-Certified Diver Supervisor to lead and oversee underwater operations in support of our marine and structural inspection, construction, and maintenance projects. This role is responsible for the safety, performance, and compliance of dive teams in accordance with ADCI, OSHA, and company standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for executing complex underwater work safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the designated Dive Supervisor on underwater projects involving inspection, construction, repair, and maintenance. Ensure all dive operations are conducted in full compliance with ADCI Consensus Standards, U.S. Coast Guard regulations, and site-specific safety protocols. Lead pre-dive briefings, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses. Maintain oversight of the dive team, surface support crew, and equipment during all phases of the dive. Ensure all dive logs, reports, and safety records are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the field, including equipment malfunctions, environmental challenges, or emergent safety concerns. Coordinate mobilization/demobilization of dive spreads and support vessels. Provide mentorship and training to less experienced divers. Communicate with clients, project managers, and engineers regarding site conditions, findings, and project updates. Qualifications: ADCI Diver Supervisor Certification (mandatory) Commercial Diving Certification from an accredited institution Minimum of 5 years of diving experience, including 2+ years as a dive supervisor Strong knowledge of diving physics, physiology, and emergency response protocols Familiarity with surface-supplied air diving systems, underwater tools, NDT methods, and inspection reporting Valid CPR, First Aid, Oxygen Administration, and AED certifications DOT-compliant medical examination and fitness to dive Willingness to travel and work in various environments, including confined spaces and over water Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Preferred: Experience with bridge, dam, or waterfront structure inspections Knowledge of engineering or construction terminology Ability to operate small vessels or workboats (USCG license a plus) Compliance, Safety, and Standards: Comply with all KCI policies and procedures. Identify, implement, and adhere to safe working practices. Understand and enforce OSHA Safety Standards and corporate policies. Ensure team members perform tasks using required industry standards and document their adherence. Review jobsite safety daily and document and resolve issues immediately. Ensure equipment, vehicle, and property security. Understand and monitor all applicable Federal, state, and local safety and occupational health standards. Education and/or Work Experience Required: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Proven experience in field technician roles, with a track record of successful completion of assigned projects. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to quality assurance and safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. Education and/or Work Experience Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in AEC industry Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations Required: A valid driver's license. Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations Preferred: Current Commercial Driver's License Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
