Responsibilities Performs basic to complex diagnostic tests and visual screenings including visual acuity, refraction, lensometry, applanation, visual field, OCT, IOL master, and fundus imaging. Keeps up with the flow of operational needs to ensure the best and timely care for patients
manages phone calls and messages efficiently, checks EHR and email regularly, handles prior authorizations and refills, schedules appointments and effectively triages phone calls. Organizes and prepares exam rooms and maintains a clean, safe, and well stocked environment. Inventories and orders contact lenses and surgical kits Cleans and calibrates instruments and equipment Provides patient education on a wide variety of ocular health issues.
