Sr. Systems Integration Engineer
We seek a Sr. Systems Integration Engineer based out of our office at 3800 Automation Avenue, Auburn Hills, MI. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work from the aforementioned address and from home. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned address. Note, this position does not require travel. The Sr. Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the system integration processes (of our automotive products) and activities of integrating hardware and software is completed for an electrification project. This person will be responsible for fulfilling the system integration requirements and collaborating with the Hardware (HW) and Software (SW) teams throughout product development process, including setting up, troubleshooting, and testing the automotive products to complete system integration for automotive electrification products. Responsible for developing system integration test strategy for our products. Responsible to perform Hardware and Software testing and prepare results. Support customer interface for System Integration issues with System Test Lead. Participate in Peer Reviews of System Integration and Qualification Strategy and Test Specifications. Interface and support System Test Engineers and Test Automation Engineers. Participate in Test Specification Defect Process. Creating/Maintaining Defect Tracking Process across all the projects. Process adherence against ASPICE Levels (Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination). Supporting any Audits on the Project for System Integration testing. Supporting Bench definition/configuration required for Testing. Supporting the development of manufacturing programming process. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering and 60 months of experience in job offered or related as a Systems Engineer or Systems/Software Test Engineer. Experience with high voltage safety standards and procedures; Experience in Writing Test specification on Requirements and Designs; Experience working with different Types of Test Generation Methodology; Experience with executing tests on different test environments, including Vehicle, HV, Bench, HIL; Experience with tools, including Dspace, NI, and Vector tools (including CANape and CANoe); Experience in Defect Tracking Process Tools; and Experience with Automotive SPICE and test levels Alternative Requirements: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering and 36 months of experience job offered or related as a Systems Engineer or Systems/Software Test Engineer.
